- There are just 2 Products on the market: Vicual C++ 4.0 or Borland C++
- 4.5x.
- Visual C++ always includes the newest Operating System functions (now
- Windows 95), Borland always tries to catch up. But I think, the more
- stable product is Borland.
-
- Borland includes source-code for games, Visual C++ just has many more
- classes than Borland.
-
- With Visual C++ 4.0 you just can build WIN95 and WIN NT Applications
- (I think you have to buy a more expensive Version to get DOS and WIN
- 3.11 support)
-
- So if you want to make DOS Games you have to buy an old Visual C++
- Version or more than the standard version of Visual C++ 4.0.
- So I would suggest, that for a newbee the better Version is Borland
- C++ 4.5 but watch other oppinons too!
